Sitting on a 1250 Sqm triangular site, this project came with the client specification for a modern contemporary
style on a Double Storey that complemented the irregular shape of the site.
Entails 5 bedrooms (Guest Bedroom on the ground level), a double volume sunken lounge, large kitchen with a cooking
island, and an open plan between living spaces. The client also requested a 'Nando's corner' overlooking the small
pool with a relationship to the interior living spaces.
The specification for material finish was stone cladding, aluminum, plaster, and paint – tones of grey, white
(interior to be mainly WHITE) with as much glazing as the design could allow. IBR roofing was used, allowing for
fixing solar panels.
As per the client’s wishes, the design allows for as much natural light as possible, balanced however to ensure
thermo-regulation inside (excessive heat entering through the use of verandahs and balconies.
